COVID - 19  UPDATE
Existing and New Patients: Our office is open and we are seeing patients for Well Woman Examinations and Problem Visits. We are a Gynecology only practice and do not see sick patients at any time in our office. We are taking special care to screen everyone that comes in at the door by health assessment questions, regarding symptoms or exposure to COVID-19, and taking all temperatures. In addition staff and patients are wearing masks at all times in the office and we are sanitizing surfaces, multiple times per day. In addition, we are seeing fewer patients at a time to allow for social distancing.
The GYN Center for Women has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance

We provide our patients courteous, compassionate care in a comfortable, home-like setting. We have worked together as a team for over ten years so you will always see friendly familiar faces. The gynecological medical and surgical care procedures that are performed in our office, are cost-effective and convenient.
When you call The GYN Center for Women, you will always speak with a person and not an automated system.

You will be notified of all of your test results with a personal phone call and we try whenever possible to return all phone calls and prescription requests on the same day. There is always a physician on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

After Hours
We always have a gynecologist on call after hours that our Answering Service can put you in touch with. See Contact Information Box. If you are a patient of record here, you can also contact Dr. Bhiwandi directly through your Patient Portal Account via secure direct messaging. Register for the portal if you have not already done so, the link is at the top of the page.

Rex Express Care of Raleigh - We have a Co-management agreement with an Urgent Care Center right beside our office. See our Contact Information box. Rex Express Care is open 7 days a week 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. They will see you for after hours or weekend care of urgent needs. They have agreed to see our patients and together we will coordinate your care and reach agreements on treatment plans. Please be sure to tell them you are our patient when you see them. We also always have a gynecologist on call after hours that our answering service can put you in touch with.

Couples Therapy and Individual Counseling - We have a Co-management agreement with a Behavioral Health Counselor at Awakenings. Laurie Watson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. If you are in need of a mental health counselor please see the Contact Information Box. Ms. Watson has agreed to see our patients and together we will coordinate your care and reach agreements on treatment plans. Please let them know you are our patient when you call.
